Chipotle Aioli & Cilantro Jalapeño Lime Aioli

  • INGREDIENTS:
    • Cilantro Jalapeño Lime Aioli
      • 1/2 cup of cilantro
      • 1-2 cloves of garlic
      • 1 jalapeño
      • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
      • 3/4 cup of greek yogurt or mayonnaise
      • Salt and pepper (a dash of each!)
    • Chipotle Aioli
      • 1 can of chipotle pepper in Adobo sauce (I found these in the Hispanic section of the grocery store)- you just need 1 pepper for this recipe!
      • 1/2 cup of greek yogurt of mayonnaise
      • 1 clove of garlic
      • 1 teaspoon of lime juice
      • Salt and pepper (a dash of each!)
  • DIRECTIONS:
    1. I decided to combine these two sauces into one post because they are related, but whichever one you choose to make (or both), you just throw all the ingredients in a blender!
    2. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week
  • TIPS: If you want a healthier option, I use the greek yogurt. If you want to make these more of a “dressing” consistency, add 1/3 cup of olive oil to your blender!
  • Pros: You can put these sauces on anything. I put them on tacos, power bowls, chicken, veggies, and even eggs.
  • Cons: If you use mayo, the aioli can be semi-unhealthy. You need a blender (see my easy-to-travel-with-appliance list for recommendations!)

  1. I had no idea that making aioli was so easy. I made two large jars of these and am excited to use them on various meals in the future! As someone who loves spicy food, these will definitely help in adding some fuego to my dishes!
